Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter Chukwu Francis, better known as Aguero Banks, has released his new single "Asawana" featuring Evado.

Produced by Emyrez and released under Aguero Banks' Hero Inc. imprint, the song explores the realities of life, pain, heartbreak and the struggles that come with trying to survive its trials and tribulations.

"Asawana" brings Aguero Banks and Evado together once again after previous collaborations, including Evado's "Ego Sub" featuring Aguero Banks in 2022 and their appearance on "Titled Man" with Knucks and Crown Ape in 2026.

The song carries a reflective message about the highs and lows of life. Aguero Banks captures that feeling in the lyrics:

Elụwa is a gift and a curse
Onye gbawara m obi
Ewerọghị remorse
That's why I carry my cross
Ọsịbike m gboo my plug

"Asawana" arrives after Aguero Banks' sophomore album, "THE RETURN (Eze Ọnyịkọ)" which was released on May 14, 2026. The project followed his 2024 debut album, "The Hero (Ọnyịkọ)".

With Evado alongside him, Aguero Banks uses "Asawana" to reflect on pain, survival and the weight of life's experiences, adding another collaboration to his growing catalogue.
