Born Oluwafeyijinmi Abdulsalami but professionally known as Jinmi Abduls is a Nigerian singer, producer and sound engineer born on 27th August, 1997 in Victoria Island, Lagos state.
Not much is known yet regarding his primary and secondary school education but we are fully aware that the talented singer is graduate of International Law and Diplomacy from Babcock University.
Career
Jinmi started experimenting with music at a very young age, by the age of 10 he has already proven his amazing potentials by finishing second during a talent competition, held by popular TV show, Moments with Mo.

His first recorded song was done by his elder brother who was already a record producer, the song which he released at the age of 11 was titled “With You“.
The year 2015 to 2020 had Jinmi witness a tremendous increase in his music career, he released many catchy singles at this time with featured performances from the industry leading acts including, Mayorkun, Oxlade, BOJ and Joeboy.
His somophore E.P “Jinmi of Lagos 2 (JOLAG 2)” was released on on August 2018, the success of this project resulted in a record deal with music management company, The Plug in 2019, his hit single “Abena” was released under his new management.

Jinmi Of Lagos as he is fondly called is no doubt one of the few Afro-Pop artistes on the rise thanks to his impressive music catalog so far.

Yes been nominated for a few but you know how it is here in Nigeria . A lot of corruption. Every award I’ve been nominated for ,the organizers would approach you and ask you for some money to win the award and honestly , I don’t partake in such. I want to win awards for my sweat and work not for my money
