Darkoo is a Nigerian-born British rapper, singer and songwriter born on September 19, 2001 in Lagos. She moved to South London where she was raised.

Not much is known yet about the talented young rapper’s early life, her education or even her real name at the moment.

Career

Darkoo started music at a young age although she had wanted to be a professional footballer, during her year 6 talent show she delivered an impressive performance of Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s “Beauty and a Beat”.

She kept on improving herself through consistent practice while still in secondary school, By 2017 Darkoo released her first piece of work, a track she titled “Gas Station”.

However Darkoo’s rise to limelight wasn’t until she released her hit single “Gangsta” which debuted on UK Top 40 chart in the first week of release. The single had featured Tottenham born rapper, One Acen.

She served listerners two impressive remix of the hit song, one featuring UK hardcore female rappers, MS Banks and Br3nya, and the other featuring Afrobeat singer, Davido, Tion Wayne and SL.

Darkoo is no doubt one of the hard hitting rapper in the game currently, at the age of 18 the “Gangsta” rapper already boast an impressive catalog.
