Earlier last two years no one has probably heard of any artiste called Omah Lay, few might have heard anyway but then majority of us who are now familiar with the name doesn’t even know he exists until last year.
Born Omah Stanley Didia but professionally known as Omah Lay is a Nigerian Afro-fusion singer and record producer who broke into limelight between 2019 and 2020 with notable singles like “Hello Brother“, “Damn” and “Do Not Disturb“.
For someone getting to know this talented singer it becomes difficult to figure out his best songs so far, Omah Lay has released more than 8 songs and while many will agree with me that he literally has no bad songs, some of them are actually preferred by listeners.
We have decided to present to you a list of 5 songs by the Port Harcourt born hitmaker which we strongly recommend that any aspiring listener should consider first before others.
1. Bad Influence
Singing about his one true love who left his heart broken, Omah Lay couldn’t have imagined this song would be his most played song so far, “Bad Influence” has amassed over 20 million streams on all platforms.
Don’t you want to find out what’s with this song that everyone can’t get enough of it?
2. Damn
“Damn” is one out of the 5 amazing tracks included in his debut EP “Get Layd, the Bizzouch produced song presents his music prowess in another interesting way.
Damn happens to his second most popular song coming right after “Bad Influence“, however to me this song is my favorite.
3. Hello Brother
“Hello Brother” was released in 2019, right before the “Get Layd” project, many sources regards this particular song his first presentation as a promising artist.
“Hello Brother” is not just a song but a message, sent from someone who is ready to stand through thick and thin and also do anything to protect his beloved brother.
4. Lo Lo
A different sound but the same energy, Omah Lay no doubt did quite an impressive job on this particular song, no wonder the track is among listener’s favorite,it’s clearly understandable.
5. Ye Ye Ye
Our list couldn’t have been complete without “Ye Ye Ye“, also taken off his debut Extended Play project, Omah Lay took time to boast of his manly capabilities.
This song is complete cruise, so you might not learn one or two but you will totally enjoy this particular track.
Let’s hear your opinion concerning this list, do you think any of his song deserves to be on the list but isn’t there?
Nice 1
