Navy Kenzo is Tanzanian afro pop/dance duo consisting of Aika and Nahreel, they are notable for their hit single Chelewa released in 2014.
Aika
Aika is a talented singer/rapper who boasts an amazing potentials in what she does, she co-founded Industry Studios together with Nahreel. Aika is also the CEO of Gold Baby Products in Tanzania.
Nahreel
Emmanuel Mkono professionally known as Nahreel is a Tanzanian born recording artist and award winning record producer born on 12th of December 1989 in Dar es Salaam.
He has produced albums for top Tanzanian hitmakers including the likes of Diamond Platnumz, Vanessa Mdee, Izzo Biznes, Gnako, K.O and Joh Makini.
He is also the founder of The Industry Studios and currently preside as the CEO of the music group.
Relationship
Aika and Nahreal has been dating for long, probably while they were still studying for their degrees in India, As of now Aika is Nahreel’s wife and they both has two children as of 2019.
Career
The duo meet while studying for their degrees in India, on returning to Tanzania they first joined a music group called “Pah One” which they created together with their friends.
However in 2013 Aika and Nahreel decided on starting their own music group after existing their formal one. They decided on Navy Kenzo which is a blend of Tanzanian and Japanese words as their new name.

The duo has been remarkable in their career, consistently serving listeners with awesome vibes, they both started building a local buzz through their shows and radio plays.
However they major single “Chelewa Bokodo” which brought them to limelight, was released on July 2014.
Nenvy Kenzo has also collaborated on songs with many others industry leading acts including the likes of Vanessa Mdee, Joh Makini, Young Dee, Jux and Gnakko.
