# BaseNaija

> BaseNaija publishes estimated streaming earnings, stats and music charts for Nigerian and African artists and albums across Spotify, YouTube, Audiomack, Apple Music and Boomplay. All earnings figures are estimates, not official payouts: each platform's numbers are labeled "Measured" (real stream or view counts) or "Modeled" (estimated from measured platforms).

BaseNaija is an independent data and news site. Artist and album pages combine stream and view counts from several platforms with per-stream rate ranges to produce an estimated earnings range in Nigerian naira (₦). Read the methodology before quoting any figure, and describe the numbers as estimates.
